Social networking sites have rabid fan bases. Join some of the social networking sites that focus on your niche. Then participate! Soon those rabid fans will recognize your name/brand and start checking you out further by going to your blog or website.
Participating on social media takes time, but doesn’t cost you actual dollars. Yes, you need to use your valuable time to participate on social media. That’s a big problem and may have made you hesitate to engage there. Your time is very precious.

You have two options. You can be a business/brand or you can be yourself. Either is a viable option. Check out the advantages and disadvantages of each one and decide which method will be best for your business.
Once your accounts are live on the social media sites that you decided would be best for your niche, start looking for PLR to use. Keep in mind that whatever you choose will represent you on these sites, so choose wisely.
Find PLR to Use
Seems like just about everyone is spending more and more time on one of the social platforms for personal use. But the idea of using more than one social network can be overwhelming. A person counts up the time he spends on one network and figures that he’d have to spend all day long on social media if he wanted to post ongoing content on multiple accounts.
Yes, just think about all you’d have to do in order to keep all your accounts active every day –
· brainstorming ideas

· making sure your opinion is expressed well
· crafting the material in an easy to digest format
· and more
You’d spend hours doing all of this. Or you’d spend beaucoup $$ on a ghostwriter or virtual assistant to do the work for you.
There’s a better way. With PLR, the hard work has been done for you. It reduces the time and money you need to spend, and it gives you the way to post ongoing information that will position you as an expert in the niche.
But, of course, you need to be a savvy PLR shopper. You can’t just take any PLR to slap up on your social media. No. You need to do some careful research in the beginning to discover which PLR producers deliver top content at a reasonable price on a consistent basis.
There are a lot of PLR providers online. Once you delve into the PLR world, you’ll find –

One tip – if you have a particular niche and decide to sign up for a membership site, be sure that you choose one that will publish content in your niche regularly rather than rotating topics from one niche to another.
If your niche is dogs, you’ll want dog PLR each month. A membership with rotating topics might give you dog PLR this month but then, perhaps not again for a year or more, making it difficult for you to get enough content to build your site.
So, be sure to sign up for a membership that delivers dog PLR regularly, but covers different doggie aspects each month – housebreaking, stopping your dog’s barking, doggie recipes, etc.
Some PLR producers with stores focus on a particular niche. Others cover a broad variety of topics. Either type of store can have great PLR on your topic.
You don’t need to stick with one PLR provider. Expand your search and develop a list of your favorite stores/producers. When you find a source that gives you the kind of PLR you like, sign up on their list so that you’ll receive emails about any special sales. That’s a great time to stock up.
Judge PLR Quality
You want 5-star quality PLR, but how can you determine the quality of PLR? You’ll want content that’s written by a native English speaker. And the text shouldn’t be stiff and formal.
Here’s my suggestion.
Read the article out loud. Does it feel natural as you read aloud? Normally, you’ll quickly recognize if it doesn’t sound natural. You might even ask a friend to listen as you read it. Or maybe just ask a friend to listen to just the parts that you’re not sure about.
What if you see something on a PLR site that mentions a team of writers? In this case, you’ll need to be a little more careful in checking the content that you purchase. If you find a lot of inconsistency from one article to another, you might decide that it’s not worth buying from them any longer.
Pay attention to the rules for PLR. Different sellers may have different rules, so you’ll need to check the license from the seller. Some sellers have very complicated rules. My advice? Forget about them. Purchase from vendors who have simple rules.
Some PLR producers have only two rules –
· Don’t put my name on it.
· Don’t pass along the PLR rights to anyone else.
That makes it very easy. If you buy an ebook and want to divide it up into snippets to use on social media, you can do that if you bought it from a PLR provider who doesn’t make you jump through hoops in order to use the content.
Establish a Routine Using PLR Every Day
As soon as you buy some PLR that suits you, put it to use right away. Don’t just file it away on your hard drive to ‘gather dust.’
You’ll probably find very quickly that PLR helps you in a big way. If that turns out to be true, you could find that you have more and more PLR on your hard drive than you expected. Because of that, start organizing your PLR from your first purchase.
It will probably be delivered in a zip file.
· Unzip it into a folder with the date and name.
· Make separate folders named ‘Used on FB,’ ‘Used on Twitter,’ etc.
· Be sure that each time you use something on one social media site, you put it into the correct folder.
· When you put it into the Facebook folder, be sure to put the date in the name.
You can re-purpose each bit of PLR over and over on different social media. You can end up very confused about where and when you’ve used a particular piece of PLR if you don’t organize yourself right from the beginning.
Set up a daily routine about how you use PLR. Choose the best time of day for you to go onto each one of your accounts so that your activity doesn’t interfere with your other online duties.
You should limit the amount of time you take each day to post some PLR there. It won’t take long to do a post or two, but you might find yourself getting lost reading posts made by other people. If you find this happening to you, a good solution is to decide how much time you can devote to social media and set an alarm that will remind you when it’s time to move on to other duties.
To become known as an authority figure in your niche, consistency is extremely important. Competitors who don’t post regularly for one reason or another will not be taken seriously. Don’t be like them.
If you post diligently every day (or whatever frequency you commit to), you will bond with your audience, and they will come to think of you as the go-to person in your niche.
Engage Your Followers on Social Media with PLR
The goal is to get your followers to participate with you.
How can you do that? Think back to your school days and use what you learned then. Make questions using Who, What, When, Where, Why and How. Here’s a paragraph from a weight loss PLR report.
This report is called 5 Ways to Overcome Dieting Depression. The original paragraph states this:
“There are certain things you can do to prevent a mental lapse where you cave in to your negative feelings. You have to be your own motivational coach – no one else can do this.“
You can take that one paragraph and turn it into six different social networking posts that will engage your readers. It’s not difficult. Here’s how you can do that –

· What: What’s your best motivational tip for recovering after you cheat on a diet because of negative feelings?
· When: When are you most prone to cave into your food cravings due to negative emotions – when you’re tired? Sad? Angry?
· Where: Where do you record your pattern of caving in to bad food choices that you make because of negative feelings – a print journal, online journal, or elsewhere?
· Why: Why do you think you associate food as comfort for negative feelings instead of a healthier choice?
· How: Experts say, ‘There are certain things you can do to prevent a mental lapse where you cave in to your negative feelings. You have to be your own motivational coach – no one else can do this.’ So, my question to you is this: How have you worked on learning to motivate yourself when the allure of cheating on your diet is so strong? We can’t do it without the proper tools!
Notice that in most of them, words from the original paragraph acted as a springboard for the question. But the last one was curated content – quoting the original and adding additional dialogue to the mix.
That’s just oneshort paragraph out of a 5-page report. Think about how many questions you can come up with from the entire report! And you can post the same questions in different social networks to see how people on different social media respond.
By doing this, you’ll learn a great deal about your audience, and your new knowledge will give you ideas about products you can make to sell to them. Or ideas about PLR products to buy, edit, and sell.
Use Images to Beef Up Your PLR
Statistics have shown over and over that social media visitors are drawn to images more than to text. In addition, images are shared far more than posts composed solely of text.
You probably already use images on Pinterest, but it turns out that it doesn’t really matter which social network you’re on – images draw more attention whether you’re on an image-heavy site like Pinterest or any other.
Here’s a way to take advantage of people’s preference for images.
· Take a snippet of information from your PLR purchase.
· Put that text on top of a relevant image.
· Post on the social media platforms that you prefer.
This kind of image is called a social media quote poster. You don’t need to use something expensive and complicated like Photoshop to do this. There are plenty of free programs you can use. Two of the easiest are Canvaand Stencil.
Both Canva and Stencil have images you can use. But if you’re not happy with the selection in either program, you can import images that you take yourself or buy elsewhere. The most inexpensive place I’ve found to get premium photos is DepositPhotos.
From one of the PLR articles you purchase, you’ll be able to make many, many quote posters. Just remember to use who, what, when, where, why, and how.
If you extract a controversial quote from an article, conversation can really get going. People respond to controversy at higher rates. They may try to convince you why that information isn’t correct.
Or if your image supports their views, they may share the image so that they can passively support their own view and ‘argue’ with people who think differently.
Repurpose Your PLR
Using the content from your PLR purchase again and again will help you get the most mileage from it. After you’ve broken it up into small pieces or combined several articles into an ebook, you can turn the content into a completely different format.
Here’s one idea. Take an article and put each paragraph on a PowerPoint slide. Dress it up with some images, and voilà – you’ve got a slide show. Impressive.
Then you could take those slides and record them in a free program like Audacity. It’s very easy to use – just do an online search for some instructions. Read the slides while you use Audacity to record. You don’t need a fancy microphone. The one with your computer is probably good enough.
Next, you can turn everything into a video. Everyone knows how popular video is these days. You don’t have to appear on the video in person. You can combine the recording and the slides using a free program like Screencast-o-Matic or a premium program like Camtasia.
Here’s another way to make a video. Take one of the quotes that you made into a quote poster. Read that quote and then go into a discussion of your opinion about it. Make several of those and you’ve got a video.
Whichever way you make your video, post it on YouTube. Once it’s live there, share it on all your social media accounts.
Podcasts have become immensely popular recently. You can do that as well. Take the audio from your video, turn it into a podcast for your audience, and then publish it on the many podcasting sites
Make It Quick and Easy
Using PLR is something that takes a bit of time early on. But it’s a case of spending time at the beginning so that later you’ll be able to do things quickly.
However, you’ll need to be careful to stay in control so that social networking doesn’t take up too much of your time. You should get in the habit of popping in and popping out. Don’t get distracted by everyone’s posts so that you end up spending longer than necessary.
